Worship Audition Form

Hello! My name is Amber Still, and I am the Executive Director of Worship, Production and Creative here at HC3! I am so excited that you’re interested in joining our team.

If you're interested in auditioning for our worship team, the following will apply to you.

We have 4 step audition process that we call S.I.N.G.

Step 1 is to Submit a Video. Congratulations on completing step 1! Submitting a video allows us to hear your voice and get a feel for your sound.

Step 2 is to Interview! We want to talk with you to hear your testimony, and why you’re interested in joining our team.

Step 3 is to take Notes. We’ll ask you to join us at a rehearsal so you can get a feel for how we do things, and we will use that time to get a feel of your musical capabilities, and how you work with others. At this step, we assess your stage presence, your vocal ability, your musical ability, your spiritual maturity and your worship knowledge. You will be notified if you have the green light to go, the yellow light to keep attending rehearsals, or the red light, which is when you'll be notified that we will be moving in another direction.

Step 4 is to Go! Should you make all 4 steps, we ask that you attend 3 consecutive rehearsals before we officially add you to our serving rotation.

Why do you want to join HC3 worship? *

Fall rehearsal time is typically Saturday at 12:30p.m., unless stated otherwise. Sunday morning call time is 7 A.M. during the fall, and 9 A.M. during the summer, unless stated otherwise. Will this be an issue for you?

Audition Submission

Vocal Audition: Submit a link to a video recording of yourself singing the first verse and chorus of "Goodness of God" by Bethel Music. In your video, please introduce yourself, and state if you are a soprano, alto, or tenor.

Note: Make sure the permissions to your audition are set appropriately for anyone with the link to view it.

Instrument Audition: Submit a link to a video recording of yourself playing your specified instrument. The video should include all excerpts and solo, recorded in one “rolling” video. Please do not stop the recording or splice separate videos together. Introduce yourself and announce what you will be playing as an intro to the video.

Note: Make sure the permissions to your audition are set appropriately for anyone with the link to view it.
